Ifernach is a newcomer in the Québec scene, based in Chandler, Gaspésie. The project stands out with its themes, exploring mainly ancient Native American tribe's folklore, nature, conflicts and betrayal. Musically rooted within traditional black metal, "Maqtewek nakuset" offers ravaging music interspersed with ambient parts, a mixture of melancholy and aggression.
