In the spirit of the old days, Tour de Garde is proud to present the debut album of Verval under its coat of arms. Verval is a Dutch atmospheric black metal project by W. Damiaen (Laster, Willoos, White Oak, etc) and R. Schmidt (Wrang) and is a step away from what you would usually expect from Tour de Garde. Inspired by the glorious days of Misanthropy Records (Burzum, Ved Buens Ende, In the Woods...), Tour de Garde brings you Verval's "Wederkeer" which consists of three long, epic and profound compositions of gloomy atmospheres and immersive vibes. This digipak compact disc is presented on uncoated stock featuring an incredible painting by Jeff Grimal and also includes a four page booklet with all lyrics.

INFERNO REQUIEM "Nüwa" Pro-MC

"Nüwa" is the last conceptual album from Taiwanese black metal horde, Inferno Requiem. Originally released last year, this album represents both something old-fashioned as well as something new. It features figures whom are quite acquainted with and knowledgeable of black metal. The theme is taken from a legendary myth of an utterly forgotten tale in Chinese history. While considered unholy and unorthodox to some, one can only dare to raise thoughts against today’s brainwashed version of the so-called "common history" we read of today. As Inferno Requiem always does, sci-fi elements are incorporated with a tone of forewarning prophecy. Musically, the album is pure, primitive black metal that is represented by the freezing cold atmosphere...something that has always been a staple of true black metal.

INFERNO REQUIEM "Moon" Pro-MC

"Moon" is the latest mini-album by Taiwanese black metal legends, Inferno Requiem after a lengthy hiatus! Misanthropic, dark, and solitary as always, the theme is of ancient myth and conspiracy. Originally published and distributed by the most well-known underground extreme label in Taiwan, GhostValley Records who are a milestone and set the pace for the entire Asian black metal scene. The successful combination of early raw Northern European style and current depressive elements along with the themes of ancient oriental mythology make Inferno Requiem a unique subject to behold.

ALRUNA "Relieving the Altar" MC

Here comes the second offering by the mysterious and utterly obscure raw black metal outfit originating from the darkest pit of Linz, Austria. This new rehearsal cassette presents four hymns of hypnotic and cavernous black metal sometimes recalling classic Norwegian recordings from Ildjarn and Isengard.
