First official release from the obscure Polish band with the exotic name (pronounced “Mgwah” reportedly), and one of the driving forces in contemporary black metal. The 3 tracks comprising this offering are overwhelming. They are infused with a cold yet bombastic feeling, and that’s what makes this recording essential. There are certain peaks like “I”‘s ending or “II”‘s main galloping theme, but basically the entirety of this recording will send shivers down your spine. The production is sharp as a blade. The artwork and layout sober and captivating.
